Week Eight Lesson and Assignment
In Your Research Journal
You will have a total of three articles—one each from three different subject specific databases.
Article 1
1.     Name of database, and subject it covers: IEEE Xplore. The subject it covers is electrical and electronics engineering.

2.     APA Citation:

3.     Perspective of discipline on solar cells: the article is simply a quantitative investigation on photovoltaic materials. Rather than giving a certain individual perspective on the topic, it focuses on giving a specific series of instructions on n-Type doping and how to measure potential gain.
Article 2
1.     Name of database, and subject it covers: CiteSeer and it’s a search database that is specific to computer and information science.

2.     APA Citation:
Lossen, J., Nemet, G., Neuhoff, K., Schumacher, K., & Sato, M. (2007). The Role of the Supply Chain for Inovation: The Example of Photovoltaic Solar Cells. EPRG. Retrieved from: http://www.eprg.group.cam.ac.uk/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/eprg0732.pdf.
3.     Perspective of discipline on solar cells: this article has an economic focus on solar cells, comparing them to oil and the market for energy. Rather than focusing on why we need solar cells, the article focuses on what makes them high demand.
Article 3
1.     Name of database, and subject it covers: GeoRef. The subject covers books and government documents about geology and earth sciences.

2.     APA Citation:
Veissid, N. (2003). New developments in using solar cells as remote sensors to gauge climate change. Environmental Geosciences, 10(2), 47-57.

3.     Perspective of discipline on solar cells: This perspective is on how global climate change can be monitored through the use of solar cells, interestingly enough.
